Atomic Mass Games Announces Four “Star Wars Legion Battle Force Starter Sets”

‘501st Legion’, ‘Blizzard Force’, ‘Echo Base Defenders’ and ‘Separatist Invasion Force’

Atomic Mass Games has announced four Star Wars Legion Battle Force Starter Sets for release September 16, 2022.

The 501st Legion The starter kit includes troops from the most renowned army of the Grand Army of the Republic. This set includes Anakin Skywalker as Commander along with 18 Arc Troopers, 10 Phase II Clone Troopers, and an AT-RT. It also includes Anakin’s command cards, 4 generic command cards, and 32 reprinted upgrade cards.

Blizzard strength features the Imperial army that led the invasion of Hoth. Darth Vader commands this force of three units of Imperial Snowtroopers, an AT-ST, a unit of 74-Z Speeder Bikes, and the new Stormtrooper Heavy Response unit. It also comes with reprints of Darth Vader’s three command cards for the base set, three new command cards, and 26 reprinted upgrade cards.

Echo Base Defenders represents the strength of the brave rebels who defended Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back. This band of fighters is led by Leia, Chewbacca and R2-D2 minifigures. It also comes with 24 Rebel veterans, 4 Tauntaun horsemen, a laser cannon team and C-3PO as well as the command cards for Leia, R2-D2 and Chewbacca. Additionally, this set includes four generic command cards and 33 reprinted upgrade cards.

Separatist Invasion Force includes an army of droids led by General Grievous. This army includes a Grevious figure, with three of his command cards, 24 Battle Droids, 4 Droidekas, 5 Magnaguards and an AAT. It also has four generic command cards and 31 reprinted upgrade cards.

Each of these sets will cost $149.99.

Atomic Mass Games was also recently unveiled Star Wars Legion Shadow Collective Starter Set, a new collection of miniatures (see “Shadow Collective Starter Set”).
